Welcome to Lumino Studios. By accessing our website and using our studio rental services in Chicago, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before making a booking.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Lumino Studios ("Lumino Studios," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, luminostudioschicago.com (the "Website"), and our studio rental services (the "Services"). By accessing the Website or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Website or the Services.

2. Studio Rental Booking

2.1. Booking Process

All studio rental bookings must be made through our Website or by contacting our booking team at [email protected] or (312) 555-7427. Bookings are subject to availability. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking, outlining the studio details, rental period, and total cost.

2.2. Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to the scheduled rental date. We accept payments via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit card, and bank transfers. Late payments may result in cancellation of your booking.

2.3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the rental date will receive a 50% refund of the total rental fee (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
• Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days prior to the rental date will receive a 25% refund of the total rental fee.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the rental date are non-refundable.

Any refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation request.

2.4. Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule a booking must be made at least 7 days prior to the original rental date. Rescheduling is subject to studio availability and may incur additional fees. Only one rescheduling request is permitted per booking.

3. Studio Usage and Conduct

3.1. Permitted Use

The studio may only be used for photography, videography, and related creative activities as agreed upon during the booking process. Subletting or using the studio for any unlawful activities is strictly prohibited.

3.2. Studio Condition

The studio must be returned in the same condition as it was found at the start of the rental period. Clients are responsible for cleaning up after their session, including disposing of trash, returning equipment to its original location, and ensuring the studio is free from debris.

3.3. Damage and Liability

Clients are liable for any damage to the studio, equipment, or property caused by them, their employees, or their clients. An inventory of equipment will be provided at the start of the rental period, and clients are responsible for verifying its accuracy. Any damage or missing equipment must be reported to Lumino Studios immediately. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the client.

3.4. Conduct

Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner while using the studio. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the rental period without refund.

4. Equipment Rental

4.1. Equipment Availability

Rental equipment is subject to availability and must be reserved in advance. A list of available equipment and associated rental fees is available on our Website.

4.2. Equipment Usage

Clients are responsible for the proper use of all rented equipment. Instructions for use are available upon request. Any damage to equipment due to misuse or negligence will be the responsibility of the client.

4.3. Equipment Return

All rented equipment must be returned in good working condition at the end of the rental period. Late returns will be subject to additional fees.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Ownership

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Lumino Studios or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5.2. Client Content

Clients retain ownership of any photographs, videos, or other content created during their studio rental. By using the Services, clients grant Lumino Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their content for promotional purposes, including on our Website and social media channels. Clients may revoke this license at any time by contacting us in writing.

6. Limitation of Liability

Lumino Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or the Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumino Studios, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Website or the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
